You could be our new Senior Community Organiser for Local Activism leading a small team responsible for building and strengthening our impact through local and regional activism, partnerships and building influence in communities throughout UK.

About the role

The Senior Community Organiser for Local Activism will work alongside two other Senior Community Organisers to help us achieve our goal of connecting with communities and building a powerful, inclusive human rights movement in the UK. The Senior Community Organiser for Local Activism is accountable for the development and growth of activist groups and teams in communities, regions and nations across the UK and for recruiting, developing and supporting a diverse group of activist leaders.

They will also seek opportunities and partnerships to innovate, positively change the understanding of and attitudes towards human rights in communities across the UK including through project-managing Amnesty’s Football Welcomes programme – partnering with football clubs and foundations in communities across the UK. They will be part of a team developing our overall approach to building and supporting diverse, inclusive and powerful campaigning groups and networks.
