The role

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Mental Health Outreach team.

The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic, flexible and creative service which provides targeted practical support aimed at promoting positive mental wellbeing.

As a Support Time Recovery (STR) worker you will be responsible for a small short term caseload, offering practical support around day to day life issues which may be impacting on the individual’s mental health.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of our Creative Remedies Arts and Wellbeing programme as well as our low level CBT based group activities.

We require somebody with a strong value base, who has experience of working in a community setting. IT skills are essential. An interest in the arts and experience of working with people with mental illness and/or addictions would be an advantage. 

Additional Information

The role is a permanent, 25 hour part time role, although there may be the opportunity to top up with temporary hours as available.

DBS clearance is required.

The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
