Duration – 12 months

The Role
We are recruiting for a QA/QC Manager to work for the EPC on a large-scale Open Cycle Gas Turbine project based in Stewartby, Bedfordshire . The HSE Advisor will work closely with the HSE Manager to make sure that sub-contractors and site teams adhere to all Health and Safety site standards etc.

Key responsibilities:

  • Co-Operate with subcontractors for the proper management of the Site HSE issues.
  • Coordinate HSE activities in accordance with Site HSE Management System.
  • Carry out daily site HSE tours to monitor the compliance with the HSE standards and implement necessary measures to remove HSE deviations and non-conformities and to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Risk and Hazard Identification, management and establishment of preventive measures & corrective actions.
  • Follow up any open observation
  • Participate to Site HSE meetings (daily, weekly, and monthly).
  • Prepare HSE reports (daily, weekly).
  • Coordinate with the Site HSE team.
  • Co-operate and coordinate the HSE teams of Sub contractors.
  • Co-operate with the Clients Site Management Team.
  • Perform and promote site personnel training (Induction & Specific trainings, Toolbox talks, etc.).
  • Requirements :

  • More than 5 years of experience in HSE. Experience in Power Plants projects or Oil & Gas will be considered as an asset.
  • Solid experience with CDM regulations
  • Engineering Degree.
  • Excellent use of English language (written & spoken).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of HSE issues.
  • Determined and analytical approach to problem solving and Incident investigation.
  • Professional ability in personnel management.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office.
