Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will need to have excellent communication skills with an ability to provide clinically effective care within the District Nurse Team.

The postholder will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care in the community. He/she will be expected to work collaboratively with the District Nursing Team and other agencies to provide clinically effective care without direct supervision. To support and assist the District Nursing Sister in overall team management and be responsible for deputising in the District Nursing Sisters absence.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
