Sundean Vet Group is a 1st Opinion practice based in Gloucestershire who are looking to support a New Graduate Small Animal Vet. They have a very experienced and supportive team of 3 Vets and 4 Nurses (3 part time).

Lydney site is open 8am – 7pm Monday to Friday and 8-4pm on a Saturday. Normal hours will be 8 hour shifts over 5 days, alternating early and late shifts. Practice closed on Sundays. The Graduate would take part on a shared Saturday rota doing one in 5 Saturdays or fewer. No on-call.

The New Graduate will be supported by having regular discussions of where areas of strength and weakness exist and how to build on them. The practice will ensure graduate has exposure to all aspects of practice – especially surgery – to enable rapid increase in confidence. Sundean Vet Group are happy to support with certificates if desired. There are also frequent appraisals and one-to-ones and practice meetings when needed.
