The Role

Here at Swayne and Partners we are looking for a Night Veterinary Surgeon to join the team. Our night Vets take sole charge of inpatients and any new emergencies that need to be seen overnight. We run an emergency service covering multiple local practices.

Our full-time role is 3 nights per week, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, working 13 hours alongside a team of Registered Veterinary Nurses. There will be occasional extra shifts to cover sickness and holidays.

Salary up to £55,600 depending on experience

About Us

Swayne and Partners have been established in the community for over 30 years and in 2014 we moved into our purpose-built practice. We are providing the highest level of care 24/7 dedicated to our patients with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities including separate cat, dog, and isolation wards, multiple theatres, dental room with dental x-ray, video endoscopy, digital x-ray, and CT on site.

Currently, we have 8 Veterinary Surgeons supported by a team of 18 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses, 4 Ward Assistants, and 10 Receptionists/ Admin Staff. With multiple certificate holders within the practice, there’s a wealth of knowledge and experience to draw upon.

Applicant Requirements

The successful candidate will be happy to take sole charge overnight with the support of our night Nurse team.
