Reinstatement Planner
Location: Lenham (ME17 2DL)
Type: Full Time, Fixed Term Contract (12 Months)
Hours: 07:30 – 17:00 (45 per week)
Salary: £22k – £24k depending on experience

Role:

Clancy are recruiting for an Administrator / Coordinator to assist our Southeast Water contract with all aspects of the planning & scheduling of works for our operational teams. Within this department you will mainly focus on reinstatement work, enabling our teams to reinstate roads, carriageways and footways safely.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan first time reinstatement works for two direct gangs, eight sub-contract workers and three site clearance operatives
  • Request for all the operational pre-requisites to plan the job, including the raising of permit requests, ensuring that work is conducted in accordance with the information communicated
  • Identify the required notice and Streetworks requirements
  • Manage customer assurance regarding complaints in relation to site conditions and defects relating to reinstatement work
  • Manage local authorities regarding defects relating to reinstatement work
  • Close down all permit requests
  • Log and register all final reinstatement measurements via in-house systems

Previous experience in planning and coordinating utilities work, along with an understanding of Streetworks or NRSWA regulations, backed-up with sound computer skills and an interest in working in an operational environment.
