Senior Network Engineer

Purpose of the role:

We are looking to recruit a Network Engineer with strong skills within the IT Infrastructure department at Man Group with financial experience and the controls and discipline that requires. The successful candidate will be focused on BAU and support work who can work well with stakeholders within the organistaion to deliver requests and troubleshoot problems. You will need to disciplined with good documentation skills and maintain the good level of response that is expected of the team.

Essential Experience:

  • A background in supporting large financial enterprise environments

  • Palo Alto Networks

  • Cisco Networking including ACI

  • Citrix Netscalers

  • Arista Networks

  • Sound Cisco routing knowledge

  • BGP

  • OSPF

  • MPLS

  • Knowledge of the ITIL management framework and an understanding of how to apply this correctly in an agile, medium sized business

  • Good communication skills with IT staff, end users and VIPs.
