Analyst, Financial Technology Job Vacancy in London, England, UK
Man
Main Purpose
Support the operation of finance technology applications and ensure continual process improvement and an adherence to a strong control framework.
Responsibilities
Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot core finance applications
Meet and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to establish project scope, system goals, and requirements
Develop, analyse, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for developers and testers to follow
Translate technical specifications into clear non-technical requirements
Manage the set-up and configuration of systems
Define and coordinate the execution of testing procedures, and develop test cases to serve the overall quality assurance process
Perform design, implementation, and upgrades of finance systems to meet the business and user needs
Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance
Key Skills & Experience
Graduate with strong academic record and highly numerate
Able to demonstrate good Finance knowledge or experienc
Strong understanding of accounting principles and familiarity with entity reporting frameworks (e.g. IFRS)
Professional qualification achieved or underway (ACCA, CIMA, CA)
Experience of working with general ledger, purchase to pay, budgeting and treasury management applications
Some supervisory experience and can demonstrate the ability to support and enable a team through change
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
