The Role

We are looking forward to welcoming a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a full-time basis due to practice growth!

We have a separate team of experienced Night nurses, which enables us to provide 24 hour, round the clock care to our patients in our Hospital facility in Axminster.

Days and hours of work can be flexible with working alongside an equal share of out of hours duties not exceeding 1:6 weekend day shifts, with time off in lieu given retrospectively.

We can offer a competitive package and salary based on experience between £24,398 and £29,000with duty payments in addition.

About Us

We are a small animal, 1st Opinion, Tier 3 Veterinary Hospital in Devon. We have 2 operating theatres, a self-contained dental suite, imaging suite, separate cattery, kennels, and isolation wards with gold standard ISFM cat-friendly accreditation. We also have an internal lab, pharmacy and 5 consult rooms with separate dog and cat waiting areas. Our excellent facilities allow our clinical team to deliver veterinary care with a dedicated focus on providing high clinical standards. This is something we take every opportunity in developing and delivering.


About the Team and Culture

We are a very supportive team of 11 vets, 22 nurses, 15 receptionists who will help you ensure high clinical standards are met and a high standard of inpatient care is delivered. The ability to communicate with clients and maintain a high professional standard is essential.
