About the role

Balfour Beatty VINCI are looking for a Utilities CAD Technician to join the HS2 project at Sublot 2B in Stoneleigh, Coventry

What you’ll be doing

  • Read and determine information from drawings, schedules and specification
  • Preparation of drawings from Engineers sketches, using CAD software
  • Production of schedules,
  • Production of accurate 2D drawings and 3D models, and structuring of 2D and 3D information to suit modularisation
  • The provision of drawings detailing the setting out information installed
  • Maintaining accurate records drawing registers, schedules, specifications and take-off
  • Completion of Quality Check Sheets and production of information for Handover Documentation
  • Works to Weekly Programme drafted by others – and marks up progress achieved weekly
  • Contributes to collection of data for Key Performance Indicators, including reasons for difference
  • Who we’re looking for

  • Experience of major civil engineering / Utilities
  • Experience using Bentley MicroStation is beneficial
