Job Summary

Start your day knowing you will have influence. We are searching for four Support Workers to join us and create more opportunities for people we support across Ipswich, Suffolk.

We have recruiting for two supported living homes in the IP1 and IP2 area of Ipswich, Suffolk where we provide personalised social care services for people with learning disabilities and autism, including behaviours of distress and complex needs. We are looking for kind and caring support staff to promote their independence and create a positive and cheerful home.

Becoming a Support Worker at Dimensions, you can expect day trips out! The people we support love going for long walks, playing tennis, swimming sessions at their local pool, picnics in the park, a day at the theme parks and going to have a boogie at Zumba or discos! But we would like our Support workers to bring creativity and innovative ideas into our teams.

We take every opportunity to support people to live the lives they want so there can be elements of driving, either mobility vehicle or your own car, to support people to their chosen activities, however drivers are not essential for all our homes.

We also want people who are happy to support with personal care, cooking, shopping, and medication.

Shift Patterns:

This position will include working alternative weekends and bank holidays. Shift times can be 7am -2:30pm / 2:30pm-10pm with at least 2 sleep ins per week. This will be discussed with you during the interview process, and you will be matched to person we support/ home in line with hours and patterns of shifts you are able to work.
