Salary:

£90 – £120 Per day

Job Duties:

• Supervise and manage a classroom in the absence of the regular teacher
• Implement pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure smooth running of the class
• Maintain discipline and manage student behaviour effectively
• Assist students with their work and provide support as needed
• Report back on student progress and any issues to the appropriate staff

Required Qualifications:

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a classroom environment effectively

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Experience:

No specific experience required, but previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is advantageous

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to manage classroom behaviour
• Basic understanding of educational principles

Preferred Qualifications:

• Teaching Assistant qualification
• First Aid/CPR certification

Working Conditions:

• Temporary position with part-time hours
• Work within a school environment
• May involve some level of physical activity and standing for extended periods
