Main duties of the job

As ANP you will have the ability to support in providing a team approach in achieving high standards of safe care and constant support for junior staff and students in practice.
You must have experience of working at a senior level in a ED setting and be able to demonstrate clinical knowledge and skills in caring trauma patients. You will be a clinical role model and have a willingness to develop the team as well as your own professional growth

Glan Clwyd is situated centrally in North Wales in the beautiful Vale of Clwyd designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty. With excellent road links to the East 30 minutes from Chester and 30 minutes to Snowdonia National Park in the West.

Essential criteria

  • RN with current registration
  • MSc in Advanced care Practice.
  • Registered with RCEM as an ACP, and evidence of portfolio access
  • Completion of Acute Medical Clinical Competency Framework (a/w validation 2022)
  • Non Medical Authorisation of Blood Products
  • Recognised teaching qualification
  • Qualified and registered as a non-medical prescriber
  • Current ILSALS provider
  • Experience

    Essential criteria

  • Substantial experience within critical care or emergency/ acute medicine
  • Experience of patient physical assessment
  • Formal teaching and presentation experience
  • Evidence of utilising evidence based practice
  • Evidence of ability to lead a team
  • Evidence of implementing change in clinical practice
  • Ability to work across organisational and professional boundaries
  • To work in the UK, all candidates who are not UK or Republic of Ireland (RoI) nationals require sponsorship to obtain either a Health and Care visa or Skilled Worker visa , unless you have permission to work via another route.
