Protocol is working closely with a  Birmingham  college looking for a passionate Pastry/Confectionery Lecturer.  This role would be working with  University College Birmingham , one of the leading FE and HE establishments in the area. UCB have also recently won the prestigious  University of the Year  Award,  so this is an excellent opportunity to work with an excellent learning establishment.

This is a temporary position until December working 20hrs per week and starting ASAP.

The ideal candidate will be a skilled chef in pastry and confectionery and have experience of teaching FE students. Anyone with experience at teaching at HE level (and be degree educated) would be a bonus to us.

The person & qualifications

  • Be a skilled chef in pastry/confectionery. 
  • Have teaching experience within FE and HE. 
  • Hold a teaching qualification and hold a DBS on the update system (or be willing to apply for one)
