Meet and greet patients into the department
To work as a team
To ensure that notes are in the department and prepared correctly for procedures
To assist in the admission and discharge of patients
Have a comprehensive knowledge of computer systems
OCT and other basic tests such as BP, P, BM (with training)
Assist with IVT injections and work in theatre as runner when needed
The post holder will be expected to deliver elements of health and social care by having the knowledge and competence to provide the best care possible
Working as part of the ophthalmology nursing team delivering evidence based high quality care that focuses on the direct need of the patient
