Are you an experienced Early Years specialist looking to step into an Early Years Initial Teacher Training Tutor (EYITT)  role? 

Protocol are proud to be working with a specialist training provider based in the West Midlands who are looking for an EYITT Tutor  to join their growing team.

You will be delivering high-quality curriculum mastery to meet the Teacher Standards (Early Years)  requirements to a case load of learners. 

 This is a full-time, permanent position. The role is hybrid and involves three days remote working and two days of travel, travel can also be expensed.

Salary is up tp £32k DOE. 

Role responsibilities

  • Complete termly skills reviews with trainees and identify skills and knowledge gaps against the EYITT curriculum themes
  • Complete visits in accordance with the programme requirements completing observations in workplace and placement settings, liaising with mentors and lead trainers
  • Develop and take responsibility for the delivery of individual training plans tailored to trainees needs
  • Monitor trainees progress and provide support in completion of evidence and uploading on to Mosaic. Ensuring other evidence is completed in a timely manner, setting targets to ensure timely completion
  • The person & qualifications

  • A level 6 qualification
  • Excellent knowledge of the Early Years Teacher Standards
  • An assessors qualification (desirable but not essential)
