Main duties of the job

Shift patterns are currently 9-5 Monday to Friday but there could be instances where you would be asked to work some evenings or weekends. This would be subject to service requirements, and notice would be given prior to requests for out of hours work being made.

The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post.

Qualifications and/or Knowledge

Essential criteria

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent working experience or to be willing to undertake NVQ level 3 and to complete within 2 years.
  • Knowledge of up to date nursing techniques.
  • Knowledge of mental health and substance misuse issues.
  • Desirable criteria

  • Training in solution focus techniques.
  • Experience

  • Experience of working with people.
