Responsibilities
Lead efforts to define media strategy, contribute to strategic media planning across global markets
Lead the process of updating of annual Media Strategy Guidelines for the different Vaccine Disease Areas Meningitis, Shingles, Whooping Cough, etc.), leveraging support from the Strategy Director, the International Pharma Lead and rest of team. Translate local insights into relevant central guidance and frameworks for local implementation.
Collaborate with Clients on incorporating the Global Guidelines into their local 2022 planning – including supporting in local discussions / workshops
Communicate overall client vision and business objectives to the extended local agency teams
Lead internal and external discussions in all media topic areas
Define template for local budget setting approach
Work to ensure audience strategy feeds creative messaging and experience delivery across each stage of the CEJ Contribute to regular insights workshops and share analysis inputs and insight with partners and Global client
Drive agency POVs on emerging global trends and Rx industry insights
Support how channel insights can be developed and pushed forward to provide the best in class plans and strategies in market
Support the evolution of Ecosystem development mapping the way the consumer connect with the brand through all channels
Evaluate the correct assets in the ecosystem and assess whether the creative agencies have provided best practice assets and second lengths
Develop strategic analysis projects
Contribute to the development of the media learning agenda and testing frameworks led by the Reporting and Insights Director
Provide clear, regular communication regarding client and project goals, prioritization, and measures of success to all key stakeholders
Monthly media plan monitoring / stewardship of how strategy guidelines are being adapted in local market plans
Accountable for QA of client deliverables
Provide monthly updates on Local Plans against Global Guidelines Checklist for each of the relevant disease awareness areas
Support delivery of Client capability programme
Provide visibility of local market media planning and local market updates / sharing monthly plans and activity updates, with monthly media plan updates
Procure all relevant information needed from our local markets to support development of global guidance
Takes accountability of own work, and that of the local agency teams
Delegates appropriately, manages resources, and ensures teams are working smoothly
Delivers constructive, actionable feedback
Responsible for executional excellence
Supporting account executive to progress learning and master quality assurance of media plans from Local Markets against monthly flowcharts and guidelines
Seen as a trusted expert by key clients
Be the day to day strategic lead on the International Vaccines Business
Skills & Experience
Strong media agency experience
Commercial, naturally driven and high energy to constantly rise to the challenge whilst being a collaborator
You will be confident in presenting both internally and externally and excellent at expressing ideas succinctly
Would be desirable for the person to have experience working with markets, successfully inspiring collaborative practices while promoting the work for higher visibility within the business
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), media systems, tools, and resources (AdIntel, ComScore, Media Tools, Global Web Index, etc.)
Possess an in-depth understanding of all vehicles and platforms within online and offline media across markets
Possess and apply a solid understanding of qualitative and quantitative business information used by clients
Build relationships and partner across internal teams and external agencies
