Main duties of the job

This role will focus on developing and enhancing our service to children with additional needs, both in preschool and mainstream school settings. There will be opportunities to focus on key clinical areas. You will work closely with the Early Years and Mainstream Team Leaders to develop and implement evidence based pathways and packages of care, whilst developing your own clinical and leadership skills. You will be part of a friendly and supportive team with regular opportunities to mentor junior staff and students. You will be welcomed into both the Early Years and mainstream teams and the wider paediatric team working across Flintshire and Wrexham localities. The department offers a wide range of opportunities for CPD and is committed to providing excellent levels of support and supervision including both clinical and management supervision sessions and in service training days. We welcome enquiries and informal visits to our department.
