We are seeking an exceptional EUC (End User Computing) and AV (Audio Visual) specialist to play a key role in a high performing, friendly team and provide hands-on management and support with the delivery and demands of the CMA’s EUC and AV technologies, services, and hardware.

It is an excellent time to join our EUC team, we are working on delivering an ambitious programme across new offices in Manchester and Darlington, so there is a real opportunity to shape how we deliver an excellent customer experience using the latest technology and devices. The EUC team is passionate about learning and actively encourages colleagues to train and participate in external events, conferences and remain subject matter experts in their field of interest. We are small, flexible and welcoming team that tries to create progression opportunities for all our staff.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the continuous review of the EUC and AV service offerings across all CMA office locations and seek to improve and increase user satisfaction.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Working with the Head of EUC on the technology landscape, creating and maintaining technology roadmaps for EUC and AV technology and hardware
  • Researching new, emerging, and changing technologies and services and identifying opportunities to improve EUC and AV service offerings
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the AV function and supporting with the EUC team operations
  • Maintaining and improving the security of the EUC environment against emerging threats
  • Leading on EUC and AV procurement related activities, which will include facilitating service review meetings and supplier relationship management
  • Managing Microsoft Teams Rooms and further improving the Microsoft Teams Rooms solution for various hybrid working scenarios

In this role, you will be expected to have in-depth technical knowledge and experience with relevant EUC and AV technologies, tools, products, and hardware such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Windows 10/ 11, and Microsoft Teams Rooms.

Strong technical knowledge of a wide range of EUC security technologies is essential and you will also need previous experience of managing multiple workstreams simultaneously at pace with demonstrable experience of line managing a small team.
