Main duties of the job

You will be part of a supportive team of Speech and Language Therapists and Technical Instructors who work in a variety of locations across Wrexham and Flintshire to provide services to children with a range of speech, language and communication needs. The successful applicant will work in Early Years and school settings delivering individual therapy. The role also includes providing administrative support for the Hanen It Takes Two to Talk project and other Early Years initiatives as required. 

Previous experience of working with children with speech, language and communication needs is desirable and you will be actively encouraged to continue to develop your skills and knowledge under the supervision of Speech and Language Therapists. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

We will provide in house training for the successful applicant and regular support and supervision is available to all staff in addition to BCUHB mandatory training.
