We are looking for a full time enthusiastic and experienced Administrator who enjoys working with a team. The Children’s Sexual Assault Referral Centre (CSARC) is based at Brighton General Hospital. You will be working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team made up of Doctors and Specialist Nurses. The service aims to provide a welcoming child-centred service to meet the specific health needs of children who have allegedly been sexually assaulted.

You will also provide support to the Children in Care and Safeguarding Teams as and when required.

You will be responsible for providing full administrative support to all team members and work within what can be a busy and sometimes challenging environment. The role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will have experience typing clinical letters and reports.

The role is primarily office based and not a patient facing role. However you will be dealing with telephone referrals and enquiries. You will be arranging clinic appointments and multi-disciplinary meetings which include police and social workers.

Qualifications and/or professional registration
Essential criteria

  • Educated to NVQ 3 level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of qualification or significant equivalent previous proven experience.
  • RSA 3 typing or equivalent

  • Significant administrative/ secretarial experience including initiating and maintaining office systems.
