The role of Clinical Site Manager is crucial to ensuring that patients are admitted to hospital in a timely and appropriate manner and that beds, specialist advice and intervention are available as and when needed.

The post holder will, as part of a team provide operational and clinical leadership, ensuring that high quality care is provided at all times. The CSM will also act as an independent practitioner providing advanced clinical assessment and management of patients according to protocols.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a motivated and dynamic individual to join the Clinical Site Management Team (CSM).

The CSM role at the Homerton is varied and includes bed management, operational site management and out of hours providing clinical support and leadership to nursing and medical staff. 

The post holder will be required as part of the role to support the weekend discharge team.

The post holder will be expected to be able to communicate service related information to senior managers, staff, and/ or external agencies. Communication skills in negotiation, motivation and reassurance are required as well as being able to overcome barriers to understanding, agreement and cooperation.
