Main duties of the job
Deputy CTU Manager will support the CTU Team Manager and Antigen Service Co-ordinator in the operational management of the CTU within a geographical area. The post holder will be responsible for providing and improving services to assure BCUHB that patients, carers and staff requirements are met and to ensure services are achieving targets set nationally and by BCUHB. In the absence of the Team Manager, will be responsible for the operational management of staff within the CTU to facilitate the delivery of excellent practice and standards of service. To support the Antigen Service Co-ordinator in the development of the service to meet demands.

Important Information Please note this position is for a Permanent Contract on a B6 Basis. You will remain on a B6 grade for the duration of the Antigen Service. At the point the Antigen Service is no longer required, the Organisational Change Process will be followed to support you into a B6 or above position within the organisation.
