Main duties of the job

  • The post holder is responsible for the 24 hour management and provision of nursing care within the designated clinical area.
  • The post holder will be an expert in the assessment, planning and implementation of all areas of nursing care and provide clinical leadership within the service.
  • The post holder is responsible for ensuring that high standards of clinical evidence based care are continuously achieved and monitored.
  • The post holder is responsible for ensuring that the Health Board Dignity Pledge is implemented within their area of responsibility and that at all times, members of staff treat patients, families and colleagues with dignity and respect.
  • The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

  • NMC Registration
  • Evidence of a Degree level qualification or working at this level
