Main duties of the job

Your Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with service desk team taking support calls and providing support to usersĀ 
  • Analyses and investigates user problems, some of which are complex, and where necessary discusses options for resolution with Support Officers and communicates the resolution
  • Analyses and investigates on possible solutions for requirements within their portfolio of responsibilitiesĀ 
  • Assisting the management team to ensure the systems within their remit are run efficiently and effectively and that appropriate disaster recovery plans are in place.Ā 
  • Provide assistance to support officers and senior support officers when required.Ā 
  • Essential Criteria Includes:Ā 

  • Educated to GCSE level / equivalent level of work experience and knowledgeĀ 
  • Knowledge of one or more business systems
  • A broad range of ICT skills
  • Experience of working in a large and complex organisation
  • Experience in the support of software solutions
  • Participation in change managementĀ 
  • Knowledge and appreciation of the capabilities and limitations of ITĀ 
  • Base : The post requires a minimum of 2 days working from the Abergele Hospital site, the remaining days can be worked remotely within the surrounding geographical area, individual working arrangements can be agreed with the successful candidate.
