Main duties of the job
Responsible for carrying out comprehensive mental health assessments with service users in the community. Identify service user needs and make recommendations for services needed.
Provide evidence based therapeutic interventions for people presenting with common mental health problems, consistent with NMC Codes of Practice or appropriate governing body, and in line with NSF guidelines and Health Board policies and procedures.Â
Assess, Plan and Provide relevant interventions in the treatment of service user who meet the Primary Care criteria, undertaking principles of cognitive behavioural therapy, depending on the individual needs of service user.
