Job Description

Duration: Permanent , Full time

The interview will be done in two parts with the first part being an Aptitude test to evaluate numerical skills, communication skills and ability to work under pressure. A formal interview will then be offered to those who have achieved a successful pass in the aptitude test.

Job purpose: To provide a front line service to scheme members and scheme employers of the North East Scotland Pension Fund. To administer the membership, calculation and payment of pension benefits in accordance with Local Government Pension Scheme (Scotland) Regulations.

Requirements

The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:

Educated to Higher Grade or Equivalent

Responsibilities

The post holder is expected to demonstrate:

Experience of using computer applications such as Microsoft Office and e-mail.
Be numerate
Excellent Communication Skills
Ability to work quickly and accurately
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work with minimum supervision
Organisational skills
