Main duties of the job

The opportunity has arisen for you to join a busy medical ward providing comprehensive administrative support to the nursing staff and doctors on Medical wards. We are looking to recruit to x 1 post, 15 hours.

Applicants must have an extremely flexible approach to work as cover will be required over different wards. They must have a pleasant personality and a positive approach to their work. Applicants must also have a good standard of education, be adaptable and have good organisational skills. A professional telephone manner is essential to receive and respond courteously to all telephone enquiries regarding patient care.

The ward clerks are an integral part of the ward team and the ward clerk position demands good team working and time management skills.

The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post.
