About the role

We are now recruiting for a Payroll Manager on a full time permanent basis.

You will have oversight of the delivery of payroll services for the Group and be responsible for ensuring that the payroll function meets internal KPIs and standards.

You must ensure consistent, accurate and timely payroll services are delivered across the Group and also ensure that finance is promoted as a business partner across the Group, delivering evidence based advice to the business allowing all layers of management to make informed decisions.

Within this role, you will be require to support the development of an efficient, effective, customer focused and solutions focused team while ensuring that the finance team meets the needs of the business, and regulation and legislation compliance is met.

About you

It is essential that you have previous experience of running large and diverse payroll operations and hold a recognised payroll qualification.

You must have an understanding of policy landscape and ability to lead production of policies in own area of expertise and be able to adjust to new business environments, be a fast learner and work with a broad range of staff in a wide-ranging business and culture when required.

Previous evidence of achievement through effective performance management, service planning and target setting is essential along with holding developed planning and time management skills, to achieve deadlines in a pressurised environment.

You will also have strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) to enable operating at a Group level within an organisation of different businesses.
