Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Secretary to provide support to the Central Orthodontic Team.
This key role requires excellent secretarial, communication and organisational skills. Duties will include diary management, audio typing, email management and telephone contact with the general public. You will also need to have a flexible approach to work, having the ability to assess situations, prioritise incoming information, address issues directly and escalate issues to the Management Team and Clinical Team as appropriate.
Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential including the ability to build strong working relationships with senior managers, clinical and key administrative staff. You will be a team player and be able to work on your own initiative and manage a busy workload.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.Â
This post is for a permanent position in the department.
