Main duties of the job
Monitor progress of administrative management and provide relevant feedback on achievements and work collaboratively to plan to meet these targets.
Working closely with other members of the Management Team, the post-holder has direct operational and management responsibility for all the administrative, clerical and secretarial staff within the team. The post holder will be expected to identify & implement new and improved ways of working to support the Management Team in the achievement of key operational and strategic objectives for the division. The post holder will be expected to produce routine and ad hoc information to support the monitoring of quality indicators and the achievement of key division objectives.
The successful candidate will have possess leadership skills and will be required to demonstrate previous experience of managing staff and budgets, along with possessing excellent people management skills including the ability to influence and negotiate to ensure service delivery and continuous improvements are made.
The post holder will manage projects at a local or regional level and therefore excellent project management and organisational skills will be essential.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Everybodys role within the C&YP service is towork towards helping the children and young people in that family. Families can exist in many forms, sizes and some children and young people may only have themselves. We see our goal as to support that child and/or young person and whatever their family is or will be to enable them to achieve their maximum potential. We know that fate has placed them in this situation and we are there to support them through their journey to resolve/adapt or come to terms with the health challenges they face.
