About the role

Balfour Beatty Vinci has an exciting opportunity for aQuality Audit Manager to join our team to work in Coleshill, Birmingham.

Role Purpose:

To establish and provide confidence to our client, Partnering Companies and Stakeholders that adequate measures and controls are in place to provide evidence of self-assurance for delivery of the works

What you’ll be doing

  • Arranging and managing the process and project Auditor resources to deliver the annual audit programme (external and internal), with comprehensive audit reports highlighting areas of both non-conformance and good practice;
  • Interfacing with the BBV senior team and Risk Management practitioners, to ensure that audit activity is aligned with and is focussed on business risk;
  • Closing out audit findings from external, client, internal or supplier/sub-contractor non-conformity reports, ensuring corrective actions are adequate
  • Managing the delivery of supplier pre-qualification capability audits and continued surveillance of supplier capabilities;
  • Coordinating the HS2 Ltd Technical Assurance Review (TAR) and Quality Assurance (QUA) processes;
  • Performance Indicators (KPI) and agree / monitor management actions to drive performance improvements;
  • Working in conjunction with the Integrated Management System (IMS) Manager, to maintain and retain the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 external certifications and managing the relationship with the external certification body;
  • Ensuring adequate and appropriate audit related training is made available for and is undertaken by the BBV audit community;
  • Leading investigations of major or complex quality issues; and
  • Liaising with the BBV Quality Leadership Team to input first, second- and third-party audit information to the Management Review process.
  • Who we’re looking for

    Experience of working in a mid to senior level position within a large or complex organisation or on a major project or framework.

  • Experience of auditing management systems within highly regulated environments.
  • Full working knowledge of management system standards.
