Main duties of the job
Applications are invited for the post of Cardiac Services data management and administration support officer.
The post holder will provide an efficient administration service to support the medical secretary team within the Cardiac Rehabilitation / Heart failure team.
The role will involve working closely with administrative, other secretarial, nursing and medical colleagues to providing a comprehensive secretarial support service. The post holder will be required to undertake audio typing of clinical letters, discharge summaries and other annotation and medical records handling, filing and other administrative tasks.
Previous medical administration experience is essential. Experience of working in a busy office environment is desirable.
The successful candidate should be able to commence in this post very soon, therefore it is imperative that you have your line-managers agreement for this secondment.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
The post is fixed term/secondment for 12 months due to meet the needs of the service.Â
