About the role

We are now recruiting for a Scheduling Manager on a full time permanent basis.

You will own all planning functions (excluding voids) across the DLO, Aligning regional services to work as one team, with clear, robust and concise procedures that promote operational excellence and exceptional customer delivery.

You will also own the planning and reporting functionality within the DLO`s management system, Service Connect and work alongside other key members of staff to ensure the system is optimised and fully utilised to generate operational efficiency whilst providing clear and concise data.

You will act as a key contact and representative of the DLO to internal and external customers including contact centre, asset management and hosing teams, ensuring that solid partnerships are built and maintained. These partnerships should lead to a continuously improved customer journey from the contact centre, asset management, housing team and all internal departments, via the DLO and through to the customer, focussing on reducing and removing data inaccuracy, bottlenecks and constraints.

You will promote a workplace where all planners are motivated and engaged, fostering a leaders job is to create other leaders approach and actively involving planners in root cause analysis, data capture and improvement projects.

About you

It is essential that you have a professional qualification in Customer Service/Operational Planning and have previous experience of managing and actively working within improvement projects.

You will have the ability to extract, interpret and present financial and statistical performance data to inform service development/improvement and have the ability to identify trends and develop service improvements.

You must be able to write procedures to underpin the service area and have the confidence and skills to process and review complex information to inform decisions.

You will be focused on delivering high quality results in a timely manner and be receptive to new ideas and focused on coming up with new ideas and implementing continual improvements.
