Main duties of the job

You will need to have a flexible approach to work, be reliable, adaptable and have good organisational skills. A pleasant telephone manner and good communication skills are essential. You will also be computer literate with experience of Word and Excel, be a team player and able to maintain confidentiality.

There will be a range of opportunities based on your skills and our requirements; however some of the duties covered by bank staff include answering telephone calls, updating the Patient Administration System, folding and sending of letters, inputting referrals, typing, filing, scanning and photocopying.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

  • Good standard of general education (GCSE Maths and English at grade C) and above or equivalent
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Desirable criteria

  • IT related qualification (CLAIT plus or ECDL)
  • L2 RSA/OCR or equivalent text or audio
  • NVQ Customer Service L2
  • L2 Medical terminology
  • Statutory and Mandatory training as per Health Board policy
