– Work with the Data Engineer and Architect to support teams across CPOS to identify additional requirements, process improvements through mapping and analysis that are robust and compliant, increase quality and efficiency and represent best practice
– Provide recommendations for better ways of working and inform future work of Data Engineers and Architects
– Deliver “quick wins” in terms of updates to systems, products to enable effective ways of working
– Support the work of Data Engineers and Data Architect to participate in the maintenance of existing data and analytics solutions, in line with TfL’s policy (such as privacy and data protection) to ensure optimal performance of operational dashboards, reporting and other applications
– To document any changes to the components in accordance with Data & Analysis standards
– Perform data gathering, root cause analysis and performance trending in order to develop appropriate process control changes
– To participate in quality assurance design walk-throughs of developed technical components with colleagues across the directorate. When faced with business scenarios which do not fit a standard approach, to collaboratively work through each issue with peers to ensure that the solution meets business/operational requirements and the principles of best practice.
– To provide, where appropriate, user access to CPOS information; and to give advice on information and databases, including training and familiarisation with collisions data, operational or safety log data.
