About the role

The Priority Campaigns & Individuals at Risk team help us achieve our goal of creating human rights change by building and delivering strategic, creative, people powered campaigns.

The Campaigns Manager works strategically with their team and colleagues across the organisation to develop campaign strategies that seek to create change in the lives of Individuals at Risk. From torture and execution to unfair trials, whatever their circumstances, you will devise strategies and take action for people facing and experiencing human rights abuse. As part of the role, you will also lead a process to develop Amnesty UK’s next Individuals at Risk strategy, taking us all the way up to 2030.

The role may be for you if:

  • You have experience of working on or leading campaigns (paid or unpaid), from a comms, advocacy, community organising or campaigning perspective
  • You’re skilled in identifying opportunities for action and making strategic decisions
  • You have excellent people management skills and understand how to develop and motivate a team
  • You have a good knowledge of theory and practice of the ethics around working with individuals
  • You collaborate and positively contribute to an inclusive culture
