Main duties of the job

Anglesey Community Mental Health Team are seeking a skilled, motivated, organised and enthusiastic Mental Health Nurse to work within an established integrated, multi-disciplinary team, focusing upon individuals with severe and enduring mental health problems. The successful post holder will undertake responsibility for the care co-ordination and case management of a defined caseload of clients with complex and challenging needs as defined within Parts 2 and 3 of The Mental Health (Wales) Measure 2010.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Essential criteria

  • RMN – Educated to Diploma Level or equivalent
  • Experience

  • Experience in Mental Health Services for older people
  • Desirable criteria

  • Broad range of experience working in health & social care settings
  • Knowledge

  • Demonstrate a good understanding of mental health problems in the older person.
