The Role

We are currently looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our night team. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, enthusiastic, want to use their nursing skills to their full potential and are keen to develop their knowledge and skills. The role is sole charge with support from dedicated on call night vet. The role is 7 on 7 off but other shifts patterns can be discussed. 

Salary

The salary for this role is between £25,000 to £30,000 DOE

About Us

Wood Street Veterinary hospital is a busy 24 hour RCVS accredited tier 3 hospital. We pride ourselves on delivering gold standard care for every patient. The successful candidate will be working in a fully equipped hospital with laparoscopy, endoscopy, digital x-ray and dental x-ray, fully equipped in house lab, isolation and separate dog and cat ward. We are also an ISFM GOLD cat friendly practice and a rabbit friendly practice. Excellent salary package dependent on experience. CPD funded and encouraged, RCVS and VDS fees paid for.

Applicant Requirements

The ideal candidate must be registered and ideally have experience working in a hospital or similar environment. Experience in working night shifts or sole charge would be beneficial. However the role is suitable for anyone looking to develop their nursing skills and looking for a new challenge. Full training will be given in all areas.
