For 15 years it developed clinical guidelines on mental health topics for the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE). It now specializes in the implementation of high-quality mental health care.

This is a very exciting opportunity to work in a centre that has a world-class reputation.

The post holder will lead the delivery of a range of national quality improvement collaboratives, working with mental health trusts and health and social care services across England. The Head of Quality Improvement will play a key role in supporting teams to use quality improvement to address this key area of patient safety in mental health.

The post holder will work closely with our National Improvement Lead, Dr Amar Shah, and high-level quality improvement training will be provided to the successful candidate.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, flexible and with experience of quality improvement programmes and leadership. The role requires working with people in a friendly, collaborative, confident and positive manner.
