Main duties of the job

Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board has access to 8 procedure rooms across the three sites. Our procedures are varied and diverse and include diagnostics, therapeutics and surveillance, gastroscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy , colonoscopy, PEG insertion, bronchoscopy, EBUS, ERCP, Double Balloon Enteroscopy (DBE), all delivering high quality care to our patients. Whats more, we also host the Bowel Screening Wales Programme so there is a real range of specialisms to develop your skills and experience.

To succeed, you will need to be committed to delivering high quality, patient focused care with pride and respect, have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to provide evidence of personal and professional development. With recent acute NHS experience as a must, well train you in our endoscopy services and along the way, youll be supported by our in-house endoscopy lead with access to some of most sought after bespoke courses to progress your knowledge and experience in this field.

  • Diploma or Degree level or willing to work towards.

  • Substantial experience working in the gastroenterology setting
  • Evidence of contribution to practice development

  • Experience in Endoscopy nursing
  • Evidence of Gastroenterology or Endoscopy course
