Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will be qualified to NVQ Level 3, with RSA/OCR Level 2 in Typing and or Word Processing qualification or have proven experience in speed typing and accuracy and be able to demonstrate IT skills through holding the CLaIT or ECDL qualification.

Previous medical secretarial experience is not essential, however the successful applicant will have knowledge of working within an Administrative setting. The postholder will be able to demonstrate good secretarial, organisational and customer service skills as you would be expected to handle enquiries and requests from patients, carers and colleagues confidently and sensitively and be able to communicate professionally with all levels of staff whilst having the ability to work to deadlines and the flexibility to adapt to changing service demands.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
