Desirable criteria Member of relevant professional body Knowledge and Experience Essential criteria Significant experience of managing projects and delivering them within agreed timescales and budgets.Experience of leading change projects.Experience of providing support and input into complex programmes.Experience in managing stakeholders, taking account of their levels of influence and particular interests.Experience of preparing briefing papers and correspondence at project board level.Experience of managing a team.Must understand the background to and aims of current healthcare policy and appreciate the implications of this.Must understand the relationship between the Department of Health & Social Care and individual provider and commissioning organisations.
