Our client currently has an exciting opportunity to join them on a Full Time/Permanent basis as a Lecturer in Carpentry & Joinery!

The person & qualifications

  • Level 3 Carpentry or equivalent
  • Diploma in Teaching and Learning (Cert Ed) or equivalent, or willing to work towards
  • Industry Experience
  • Up to date industry knowledge
  • Experience of working within the HE and FE sector (Desirable)
  • A1 Assessor (Desirable)
  • IQA (Desirable)

    • Role responsibilities

  • Teaching and training students and other client groups to quality standards set by the College
  • Assessment of student work
  • Development of Curriculum
  • Counselling students and maintaining discipline
  • Participating in the recruitment of students, including the attendance at Shows and Careers Conventions
  • Participating in internal verification, auditing and other quality monitoring processes to ensure that all learners, customers and clients receive exemplary service and attention at all times
