Main duties of the job

The role would mean working in all the areas but the skill set would mostly be used in the more specialised areas.

You would be expected to support clinicians in Minor operative theatres acting as Scrub nurse. Also you would need to develop wound care skills under the supervision of trained nurses. 

There also is room to develop skills to support patients given bad news.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Essential criteria

  • Level 4 NVQ
  • Mandatory training updated
  • Experience

  • substantial experience at level 4
  • experience as HCSW
