The role is to manage patients who are attending the dressing clinic.

You will be responsible, under supervision, for assessing and treating patients with a wide range of wound conditions. 

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Essential criteria

  • NMC Registered first level nurse with diploma.
  • Documented evidence of ongoing education and professional development.
  • Awareness of the changing health agenda which affects community practice.
  • Knowledge and evidence of application of consent.
  • Knowledge of data protection and patient confidentiality.
  • Understanding of risk assessment and health and safety issues.
  • Desirable criteria

  • Post Registration qualification in research, teaching and assessing and palliative care.
  • Awareness of the wider agenda in which care is provided.
  • Awareness of current research and its application to practice.
  • Experience
