We are now looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist in Cardiff, however, the role can be partly remote. As we are growing rapidly there will be a requirement to undertake a few business trips throughout the year, hence the successful person will have to be flexible in their approach. 

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be telling the story of CatSci to the world. You will care deeply about cultivating relationships, having lively, thoughtful conversations with your candidates, and knowing our organisation and its services well enough to articulate life-changing opportunities. Ultimately, you will be responsible for hiring qualified people while maintaining a positive candidate experience.

Your Impact as Talent Acquisition Specialist 

  • Sourcing and attracting candidates for a variety of roles. Understand hiring needs, position specifications, and the talent and market landscape
  • Running end-to-end recruitment campaigns
  • Taking a behaviour and competency led approach to identify the right talent
  • Headhunting and networking (online and offline)
  • Providing recruitment training to hiring managers
  • Ensuring that all stakeholders follow CatSci’s talent acquisition policy and procedures 
  • Interviewing candidates for a wide range of roles at all levels
  • Ensuring the most appropriate talent attraction techniques are in place
  • Organising recruitment events and participating in external events 
  • Onboarding candidates at all CatSci’s locations across the UK
  • Reporting recruitment metrics
  • Reinforcing and developing our employer branding
  • Taking initiatives to promote our Diversity and Inclusion strategy

Requirements for Talent Acquisition Specialist  

  • Proven experience as a Recruitment Specialist, Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Specialist, or in a similar role
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter package
  • Experience with various ATS systems and databases
  • A flair for constantly engaging with new talent
  • Ability to understand, research and stay at the forefront of the latest attraction methods
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Full UK driving licence + willingness to travel to meet the demand of the role 
  • BSc in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or relevant field (desirable)
  • Experience within the pharmaceutical sector (desirable)
