We are looking for  Support Workers in Ipswich.

£9.60 per hour

We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting adults to increase their independent living skills whilst facilitating positive community participation.

What will I be doing?

  • You will be supporting adults with a diagnosis of a learning disability and/or autism.
  • Providing 1-1 support as well as working in a team of experienced and dedicated Support Workers.
  • Going to activities including going to the cinema, swimming, bounce, and long walks at country parks.
  • Supporting with cooking, shopping, medication, and other daily living skills.
  • Promoting independence and supporting to gain as many skills and opportunities as possible.
  • Encouraging to exercise and to eat a healthy diet.

    • When will I be working?

  • Shifts are 07:00-14:30, 14:30-22:00 and sleep in 22:00-07:00
  • Mixture of long days and short days and minimum of two sleep ins per week.
